SOUNION | Sounion & Ancient Theatre of Thoriko

On a private excursion with your family, your friends, or even the company that you will create especially for this purpose, you will admire the Athens Riviera, with its beautiful beaches and the view of the Saronic Gulf. About 70 kilometers from Athens is Cape Sounion, and then the city of Lavrio and the archaeological site of Thorikos, where you will admire the oldest surviving theater, but you will also be surprised to visit the first industrial area that dates to 3500 years ago.

Our next stop will be at the famous temple built in honor of Poseidon, the God of the Sea, in 444 B.C. The amazing view, combined with the sunrise or sunset, will captivate you. On the adjacent hill you will also see the remains of the even older Temple of Athena.

Throughout the tour, the driver will provide you with useful information both about the history of each region but also for its modern reality.

Extra tip: You can stop for a swim at one of the wonderful beaches or even have lunch/dinner in a tavern by the sea. (In this case you should have your bathing suit and towels with you.)
Tickets to the points of visit are not included and the driver cannot follow you in the archaeological sites and museums.

Cold water is provided, as well as a child seat upon request.

Tipping is optional and not included in the price.
Every extra hour is charged with 25 euros.
